This impressive facility, whilst built to permanent standards, is designed to be fully relocatable, keeping installation times to a minimum.

Stand-alone facility

The facility has been designed to be standalone with fully fitted plant rooms, the only incoming services required are mains power and water. Staff facilities, public areas and an isolation room are all available to be bolted on to the core autopsy and body store areas creating a fully independent unit.

You could site the mortuary virtually anywhere on your site and use it as a permanent addition to your estate or as a temporary decant facility during a refurbishment project.

In emergencies

The fast-track nature of this facility and the ease of relocation makes this the perfect solution in a disaster situation when a fully operational mortuary is required immediately.

The unit could be linked to a tented structure to provide much larger capacity when a rapid response is required in an emergency.

Linked to your building

If you are running out of space in your existing facility, you could "bolt on" this unit to provide additional capacity or simply link in the building during a refurbishment project as a temporary solution.

The facility is designed to be a fully functional standalone autopsy suite, but with the flexibility to be relocated and to serve a number of different applications. The current configuration is approximately 400m², with the main mortuary area being supported with office, staff facilities and a public viewing area. There is a separate admission and removal area which links to the body reception and storage fridges.

• Laminar flow systems driven by dedicated M&E plant
• 64 body store, all of which can be refrigerated, including 4 spaces for obese patients and 8 spaces which can be frozen for forensic investigation and storage
• Integrated floor gullies linked into the drainage system for ease of cleaning
